About the event
Guest Speaker Andree Morneault is a Silviculture forester who holds an engineering degree in forestry. Silviculture foresters are responsible for forest regeneration, making sure the trees grow back healthy and strong. Andree worked for the Ministry of Natural Resources for 20+ years and is currently working in the private sector overseeing all aspects of tree planting with the company she is with.
Andree will be discussing forest management for a healthy ecoystem, wildfires and best practices for forest resilience. Reforestration practices to restore nature's balance in a changing climate will be a key focus of the discussion.
